And then you...

***
s_zot.photosight.ru

At the crossroads
of comfort and convention
and of freedom and turbulence
frozen I stood, frozen
coming as I did
from shelters
built over centuries.
And then you
took me by surprise
into your arms
and I melted
into your warmth
throbbing to an eternal
rhythm,
how can I
be the same?

Your ways are

www.photodom.com/photo/1660000 by Mat Katsen Coil

I thought
and I believed
you are going to be
with me for ever.
Short was the company
but great the warmth.
Your grace abounded.
Some light in wilderness
Some comfort in the biting cold
and then you turn away.
Like they did.
My landscape is desolate
but my spirit is not flagging.
Come discover the warmth
of my spirit and hearth.

Lost in love

***

By Brady jack500.photosight.ru

I am lost
lost in love
in love with life
with life full
full of flesh
of flesh and
flesh and blood
and blood throbbing
throbbing with
rising lust
lust for life.
I am lost
in love with life.

Choose I will

Choose I can and
choose I will
when to cross and where
when to rest and where
What to go for and when
which bridges to cross and
which cross to bear.

Desires

***

I have desires and
I have no need to hide them
from you and me.
You may not be the right one
to reveal to;
but I have no way of knowing
and so I stop to check
if I could trust my guts.

All those wishes

image; Zan Zibovski, photoline.ru

My joy knows no bounds
I have thrown off
all shackles of my past
all guilt n shame
for living life as it came.
It is a fresh morning
a fresh breeze
a fresh me
and a fresh sun
that brings new grace
every day.

Unquenchable

No matter how much
you try to quench
our thirst
by drawing upon
the reservoir
there always will be
some more
of the asking
for ours
is the eternal
thirst for
an eternal beauty.
