It looks like the verse is inspired by the movie La Belle Noiseuse. Or is it independently inspired?
ReplyDeleteThe connection if any is concealed in my subconscious. As far as I remember, when I wrote this I had not thought about the movie. But now that it has been mentioned, I can't rule out the possibility.
