Still waters
still my thoughts
and feelings settle down too
only Light dances
on the waves
and lightly plays 
with my inside
The rocks accept
my tender skin
as my mind closes itself 
to all that has been
and all that will be.
It floats in happiness
slowly rocking me
into a waking sleep.

Stillness....

Not sure
what and how
I got drawn
to the still waters.
It could be 
the turbulence
within or
memories of peace
long lost.
And here I am
entering the stillness
or rather
allowing stillness
to enter and slowly
spread silently.
Trying to do
and doing -
both are not done
here as
the Will brings
Ego and
stillness is when 
both subside making 
way 
for what is
simply
and truly
joyous.

When nothing is in sight
there appears suddenly
a green patch by 
the roadside
and next to it
a lake of clear waters,
warm sunshine and
a feeling of all goodness.
Things fall in place
and the soul on a swing
a song in the heart
and a lilt in the voice.
You wonder and then cease
to perplex on how it happens
and just soak in the feeling
standing and not pressing
on even a thought.
Some times.....

The surface calm
belies the simmering within
but I have allowed
hurts and regrets
to settle down at
the bottom
but delve I must
into those mysteries
of all that made
me yearn, turn and
twist in the flow of life.
My flow?
Still waters beckon me
these days.
