Perfection

***

A pause perfect
with expression
forming on my lips
across the sculpture
that God made
of me and gifted
but life looks ahead
beyond perfection.

To be a tree

Image: Vladimir Arkhipov from photodom.com

To be soft in form
and hard in matter;
to be growing to the skies
and rooted in earth;
to be flowering in bloom
and fading without gloom;
Oh, how I love
to be a tree
in eternal embrace with
the wind, the sun and the skies.

When light(ning) strikes

She was powerless: what could she do

When love struck her all of a sudden

In the dark steps descending into

Nothingness?

The light dazzled all of her,

The eyes, the breasts and the loins.

She dropped on to the steps to take

All of that into her being,

Not thinking of age, skin, colour and place!

She became light and lighter…

And she became the Light herself

And took wings into the skies beyond!

Unveil

Image: Oleg Kosirev
verse: Syn Onym

It has taken me
a life time
to unveil myself
to
myself
in my fullness
to acknowledge
life
that runs through
my flesh and
to celebrate
the spirit
that throbs
in my veins:
ripe n fresh
like the fruit about to drop off.

Inside out

Verse by Syn Onym

The light outside asks
of this life
ordered in pleasure:
is there any escape
from waiting
endlessly
and then
fantasizing the elusive
peak of emotion?
The peaks are always
snow-capped.
The light outside
peeps inside
to invite
the present moment
to take wings.

Gaze

Image: dendrixus.photosight.ru
Verse: colin lascale

Oh those moments
when we floated
in a world of our own
and time stood still
every pore alive
with the joy of merging
into each other.
I am waiting
with all my fruits
of patient toil
you would float
in to harvest it
and create
that motionless time
the time of our life.

Alone

Image: bagnino.photosight.ru

Verse: Syn Onym

You sculpted me
leaving not an ounce
extra.
I live
in this heartless world
with the burden
of your gift of
beauty.
My soul cries
out
to the
earth, the sky and
the wind
to give me their expanse.
Only they have
the wisdom
to listen and to give.
