The seed's power
is known when
it's sown.
I am now 
feeling like
the ripened fruit
that I hold -
fully grown
full of juices
waiting to give
of itself
and let
the seed
fall to the earth
and though
plucked from
the mother tree
still I retain
her essence 
in every cell of mine,
life waiting to
spring forth 
and take shape
separately.
Isn't that
beautiful -
the fullness
of beauty?

In fullness of time...

I have been waiting
not giving up
determined to make it happen
in fullness of time.
I wonder at times
if it is worth the wait.
Why not fling myself
at the altar of sacrifice?
But for everything there's time
that's what life has taught me.
So I wait for the fruit to ripen
the song to play
the dark clouds to carry the rain
and for the dawn to break.
So I will wait and
life will bloom
in fullness of time.
