Of Nature...4

These stalks 
that surround
grow tall yet slender
and bear tender
shoots of corn
and cast
in the soft sunlight
their shadows across
my body.
I am touched 
not bodily
but in soulspace
by something 
so frail yet full
so soft yet strong
and there spreads
inside me
a sweet fragrance 
of the beauty of life
and outside
the sun lingers
lazily on the horizon.

As I move on my own
on the uncharted terrain
I meet abundance
of nature
of plants growing tall
over vastness of earth
and under limitless skies
both stretching to meet 
in distant horizons
my heart aflutter
every cell alive to the whispering woods
and loins throbbing with desire
holding so much of creation
within and without.

Loneliness of existence
vastness of the universe
As I gaze upon
the distant horizons
I hear the soft murmur
of the waves as though
whispering an invitation
to jump and immerse
in the timeless cycle
of nature
But I don't want to lose
my self
